| With the amount of variables
you have to consider when buying travel insurance it makes sense if you have an
idea of what is going on in the country you are visiting. If you are skiing you
may want to check the weather forecast to avoid arriving to no snow and no cancellation
cover. If you are travelling to the Middle East for a stay on a kibbutz you should
know if you are likely to be in a hot spot. If you are travelling to a political
hot spot are you likely to encounter roadblocks which may prevent you reaching
your destination? And so on. It can all affect your decision on the amount of
cover you buy.
The following links provide some excellent news, weather and general information
which you can have a look at before you buy your travel insurance. Do bear in
mind that insurance companies keep a close eye on events so they will be adapting
cover for your and their benefit anyway.
